Goleta Cases Go to Anacapa
Goleta has no courthouse. The court's South County division for civil, family law, probate, and small claims is the Anacapa Division at 1100 Anacapa Street in Santa Barbara. The court's local rule defines South County by a boundary line, and Goleta lies south of it, so confirm your filing venue with the clerk.

You can work with us from Goleta by remote service. Our Arroyo Grande office, at 556 Camino Mercado, is open by appointment only. Please call (805) 941-1113 to schedule a visit or a remote session.
The Family Law Facilitator's Santa Barbara office is at 1100 Anacapa Street, with walk-in hours on weekdays and appointments by phone, Zoom, or in person. It does not help with appeals, guardianship, adoption, or restraining orders.
Goleta gets its police service from the Sheriff, and the Sheriff's Civil Unit Santa Barbara office serves South County, including Goleta. It is at 1105 Santa Barbara Street. Domestic violence restraining order papers are served for free using form SER-001.
