Request for Order Response Paperwork

Form FL-320, Responsive Declaration to Request for Order, revised effective July 1, 2025. It lets you tell the court your side before the hearing. We prepare it from the facts and positions you give us.

The court says the FL-320 must be filed and served at least 9 court days before the hearing unless the court ordered a shorter time. Because court days exclude weekends and holidays, count carefully or ask the court clerk.

The court says filing form FL-320 generally has no fee, except a first appearance fee if you have never filed papers in the case. You can ask for a fee waiver with forms FW-001 and FW-003. Check the court's fee schedule for your county.

If the request involves support, a current Income and Expense Declaration, form FL-150, is generally part of the packet. The request for order you received should also include blank copies of the forms for you to use.
