Our service is statewide and remote, with offices by appointment in Arroyo Grande and Lancaster and mobile or remote service near Ridgecrest. That includes Arroyo Grande, Lancaster, Palmdale, Paso Robles, Ridgecrest, San Luis Obispo, and Santa Maria.
In California, a legal document assistant is registered with the county clerk to prepare legal paperwork for people who represent themselves. We type and organize the forms from the information you give us. We cannot give legal advice, choose your forms for you, or represent you in court.
You tell us which documents you want prepared. We explain the preparation work and fees, then give you the required written disclosures and agreement. After you provide the information we need, we prepare the paperwork. You review every page before any filing or delivery.
Yes, by appointment at our Arroyo Grande or Lancaster office. The Ridgecrest address is a mailing and document drop-off address only. Service in the Ridgecrest area is mobile or remote, so please do not come to that address expecting a meeting.
We work with every budget. We explain fees in writing before work begins. Court, recording, and other third-party fees are listed separately in your written service agreement.
